Dear Shanell,
Everything is going great here! My new companion is an Aussie and his name is Elder Douglass. He's good! Today we were teaching the 4th discussion to an athiest and I asked him if it were possible for him to live forever with his family, would he like to? He looked at me and said, "No". He said he would want them to go their separate ways. It was sad! I just said to him that I must be quite different because I told him that when I get home, I am getting married for all eternity and that I want to be with my wife and children forever. I bore my testimony to him that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I felt the Spirit so strong!
I sometimes wonder how the other churches convert without the Holy Ghost. It is sad to see people that are unwilling to open their minds and hearts enough to find out if our message is true! Some people say that we just say we are right just like the other religions, but why can't they see that the other religions don't ask them to pray about their religion? So far this month, we have taught about 8 or 9 discussions. That is good for us! Our goal is 10, but we are teaching 5 more on Saturday. We are keeping busy!
Have a great week!

Dear Shanell,
We are very excited about our baptism this Saturday! She says she is counting down the days, too. Her name is Barbara Davies and she is 15 years old. She is already in seminary and going to mutual. She loves it!
That is cool that you spoke with Kathy Cottrell at the seminary graduation. I knew her, but not very well out here. She is nice.
Today we placed 2 Books of Mormon and taught 3 discussions! We also set up a family home evening with a part-member family, visited 2 members and tracted for 4 hours. We usually teach 3 discussions in a weeks time, so that was a pretty good day! I'm excited!
I'm so thankful for the opportunity I've had to serve a mission. I've grown so much! My companion, Elder Zurzolo, said that I know heaps about the church that he's never heard of and I realized today how much I've learned ! I love God and I love Jesus Christ and all they have done for me!
Keep smiling!
