Dear Shanell,

We just taught a man yesterday named John Taylor! He is kind of wierd. When we were talking about the 3 degrees of glory, he said, "Wow! An astro plane dimension!" He had some books about God and stuff and one was called "Chariots of the Gods: is God an astronaut?" We told him it was all garbage and he told us to burn it! The man knows ore than he should about the occult, astro planing, and things. It will be tough.

Elder Green is rather a pain. He is taking advantage of his blindness far past the limit. He can see well enough to get around and read a bit. He treats people poorly because he feels that "no one would hit a blind man". Our zone competition with the districts ends today and I think our district won. Elder Green and I have been tracting heaps and we have been working hard, but we're just not getting much out of it! We won't give up, though. The other districts owe us a cheesecake and so did the zone leaders.

We are memorizing D&C 4! It is the best scripture on missionary work! It has been eye-opening on my mission to see how other people think and believe. There are many very confused people. I'm so glad I get to be here trying to teach them about the Lord and His church. Thank you for your support!
